Do you have any friends now in Jasper? I searched Google this morning. It's 233 km from Lake Louise to Jasper, but it takes more than 7 hours. Is the road under construction and difficult to drive ?

This is a problem that has been discussed multiple times in the group recently, and it seems that there is no definitive conclusion.

Using Google will choose another route, don't follow it, I suggest you download the offline map of Tantum, it's very useful, I just came back, the markings are very accurate. The actual distance is over 180 kilometers, you must remember to have the Icefield Parkway, also known as Highway 93, along the way there are attractions such as Peyto Lake, very beautiful.

It doesn't take 7 hours, the road is very good, I just came back two weeks ago. In the middle, play on the glacier, about 7 hours. If you don't stop, it won't take more than 4 hours. Yes. The glacier is right in the middle, and also passes by Gong Lake, Peto Lake, etc.

It may take you longer to get to Jasper because there are too many places to play along the way. If you don't stop, you should arrive in about 4 hours.
