Someone in the group said before that you can directly enter St. Peter's Basilica from the Vatican Museum. Where is the entrance ?

Guards check the small door on the right side and only allow teams to pass. We were stopped, so the difference should be whether the security guard on duty at that time is responsible.

It's simple. After visiting the Sistine Chapel, there are two exits. Take the right exit and go down the stairs, following the crowd out of the museum building. When you come out, you will be facing St. Peter's Square, with the church on your right. Walk straight ahead to the church's main entrance, then turn right to go inside. Both tour groups and individual visitors can go this way without being stopped. The spiral staircase is on the other side of the museum, where the audio guide is available. The staircase is in the middle of the souvenir shop. First, take the spiral staircase, then come back to visit. After visiting the Sistine Chapel, go directly to the right exit to the main church. This is the most time-saving route.
