As I have never been to New Zealand, what is the difference between New Zealand and Banff National Park ?

New Zealand and Banff are still very different. I went to New Zealand a few years ago, and just visited Banff this year. The most beautiful places in Banff are probably Lake Louise and Peyto Lake, so I might go there first. But I still think New Zealand is better, with its diverse landscapes and activities, so you won't get tired of the scenery. In Canada, it's mostly about mountains and lakes, and it can get a bit monotonous. I think the prices in New Zealand and Canada are about the same. If you want to save money, it's better to stay in an apartment and cook for yourself, as eating out is expensive. In New Zealand, even the activities are expensive, starting at a minimum of $500.
