If you want to sunbathe on the beach, come to Hawaii; if you want to wander through tropical rainforests, come to Hawaii; if you want to experience the fun of driving, come to Hawaii; if you want to explore the secrets of the ocean, come to Hawaii; if you want to hike across a volcano, come to Hawaii; if you want to know what it's like to see craters on the moon, come to Hawaii; if you want to see grasslands, stars, snow-capped mountains...come to Hawaii! All these wishes can be fulfilled in Hawaii. Enjoy spectacular natural landscapes, experience unique Polynesian culture, taste a variety of global cuisines - that's Hawaii. The Hawaiian Islands were formed by volcanic eruptions, including 8 main islands and 124 smaller islands, stretching 2450 kilometers, forming a crescent-shaped island chain. The eight main islands are Oahu, Hawaii, Maui, Kauai, Molokai, Lanai, Niihau, and Kahoolawe. The most visited tourist islands are Oahu, Hawaii, Maui, and Kauai. Oahu More than 80% of Hawaii's population lives on Oahu, and Honolulu is located on this island. My impression of Hawaii should be leisurely, spacious, with beaches and waves as far as the eye can see. But upon arrival, I realized how wrong I was. Oahu turns out to be an international metropolis. Here, there are the second most expensive gas prices in the U.S., top-tier real estate, and to my surprise, traffic jams! Everyday during rush hour, one can't help but exclaim, "Oh, traffic!" View of Waikiki Beach from Diamond Head Cultural History of Oahu The most experienced aspect of crowded places is culture. Aloha, Hawaiian for hello! On Oahu, I felt the strong Aloha spirit, with nice people, nice birds, and even nice fish swimming around us in the sea. After spending some time here, people become patient and gentle, and tourists at attractions are warm-hearted, often approaching and asking, "Do you need help taking a photo?" Hawaii's ancient culture is Polynesian culture. Well-known symbols of Hawaii like hula dance and Aloha are part of Polynesian culture. The best place to experience the culture is at the Polynesian Cultural Center in northern Oahu. Starting at noon, seven cultural villages showcase various performances, immersing visitors in a warm, lively cultural atmosphere. We learned Fijian, danced hula, learned to rhythmically beat bamboo sticks, learned indigenous cooking methods, watched the making of a traditional Hawaiian luau, rode Hawaiian canoes, and witnessed a traditional Hawaiian wedding...an afternoon of visual feast unfolded, followed by a buffet featuring roasted pig and a grand cultural show called "HA Breath of the Life" in the evening, immersing in awe of life and admiration for love, reveling in the fervor of the dance performance, experiencing the essence of love and life.

The former Hawaii was not part of the United States; it was the Kingdom of Hawaii. The best record of this history is at Iolani Palace. The palace was built by King Kalakaua in 1881 and was the residence of his sister, the last reigning monarch of Hawaii. Iolani Palace was the royal residence during the time of the Kingdom of Hawaii and was reopened to the public as a museum in the 1970s. Originally an independent kingdom, Hawaii was overthrown by American residents in 1894, leading to the establishment of the Republic of Hawaii. In 1898, the United States annexed Hawaii, and in 1959, it became the 50th state. The palace still retains its original appearance and layout, allowing visitors to imagine the grandeur of Hawaiian royal gatherings, the music of celebrations, and the sorrow of Queen Liliuokalani's imprisonment.
