Do I need to get my driver's license notarized when driving in Canada ?

It is best to have it notarized. This is actually the most effective and secure way. The validity period of notarization is the same as that of the driver's license, which is the most convenient way.

I got a new driver's license and then went to notarize it. It can be copied in multiple languages at once, one in English and one in German or Spanish.
