We just came back from the Grand Canyon Park. If you drive by yourself, you don't need to take the scenic vehicle. There are parking lots at each viewing platform, which are very convenient for parking! It's best to drive from east to west, the light gets better and better, and the scenic spots are all on the right, so parking and viewing are safe and convenient!
