As long as the medicine doesn't contain prohibited components, you should bring the prescription, and there is a date limit, I think it can't be used for more than 90 days.

I didn't have anyone to take care of the medicines I brought when I got off the plane in Los Angeles. For safety's sake, it's better to bring the medicine instructions, if possible in English.
