Do we need to book tickets online in advance for Banff's scenic spots? What about Niagara Falls? Do we need to book tickets in advance for both ?

Banff does not require advanced ticketing. It is a one-day ticket calculated by day. For scenic spots, you need to buy a cable car ticket separately for the Sulphur Mountain cable car, a boat ticket separately for the boat, and a bigfoot car ticket separately for the Icefield. It should be available for on-site purchase now, as it is not the peak season.
Niagara Falls offers a package ticket including Hornblower Cruise (red raincoat), viewing the falls from below (yellow raincoat), waterfall movie (blue raincoat), whitewater adventure, and two days of bus transportation, all for a total of $65.
