Can you guys tell me, today we took the wrong road and had to turn right to go to the opposite road. As a result, the traffic lights at the time were a red light and a right turn red light; we waited for a long time, but all the lights were red, and the cars behind us were honking at us, so we turned right and turned around. Is this considered running a red light ?

Turning right on red is not allowed. Even when the light is green, you must check if U-turns are permitted.

If there is a right turn signal, you can't turn right until the light turns green, but you can make a U-turn within the stopping line for vehicles.
