Harvard and MIT are visited by too many tourists, so parking is particularly tight. If possible, it's better to take the Red Line, and get off at Harvard and MIT. Or rent a bike, and you don't have to worry about parking. After all, Boston is the only city with dedicated bike lanes, while other cities only have bike lanes in a few locations.

The United States is very large, and every time you go somewhere it's different.
