Is there anyone who drives from Florence to Michelangelo Square? Is parking convenient and free? Does this road include the ZTL area ?

Walking from the city center to Michelangelo Square takes about an hour and ten minutes.
Go through the old town, and go up the steps on the side, it's not far and very convenient, if you don't have a big suitcase by your side.
Michelangelo Square is outside the ZTL area. We took a taxi and there were not many parking spaces.
I parked by the roadside next to Michelangelo Square last month and watched the sunset. It was very beautiful, and no one charged me.
There is a parking lot near Piazza Michelangelo, but it is usually full. The square is located on a small hill, and there is also a parking lot below the hill, which is not within the ZTL area. The parking lot below the hill costs 2 euros for the first hour and 3 euros for each subsequent hour, and is free from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. The road down the hill is closed from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Thursdays to Saturdays.
