From Li Zhiwen to Tuwasen (self-initiated) via Highway 99, it takes about 30-40 minutes. The first boat departs at 7:00 am, and the second boat departs at 9:00 am on weekdays. You can also take a boat from the ferry terminal in West Vancouver to Nanaem. Generally, one-day tours do not go through this ferry terminal. We went on a weekday in May without making a reservation. We arrived at the pier at 6:00 am, but there were no seats on the 7:00 boat, so we had to wait until 9:00 am to get on the boat. It's best to make a reservation in advance, and the reservation fee is about 17 Canadian dollars (for a 7-seater vehicle).
