Should car navigation be shipped or can it be taken on the plane directly ?

When I arrived, I checked in my luggage in the suitcase. Yes, it's best to have double insurance for navigation. Sometimes navigation doesn't work and you need to use Google Maps on your phone. Along the way, we used many navigation software to find supermarkets, hotels, and attractions. If one doesn't work, we use another one, and finally everything goes smoothly.

It's generally better to check it in with the luggage. Do you find it troublesome to carry it yourself?
