Do I need to register the license plate number on autopass if I have registered on EPCPLC when renting a car in Sweden and going to Norway? I looked at the note given by Hertz, and it seems that EPCPLC is only for parking registration ?

Absolutely necessary. Toll fees are directly deducted from the credit card, otherwise they will be deducted from the rental company and an agency service fee will be charged.

Norway has no manned toll stations, no toll gates, only a sign and a photo system. If you have registered for AUTOPASS, you will receive a billing notice within one or two months after returning home. If you have any questions, you can log in to inquire, and each toll charge has photos, time and location.

I had the car rental agency handle everything last year, so I didn't have to do anything myself.

Norway requires autopass for driving, there is no manual toll collection. According to the bill provided by Hertz, the autopass from Sweden is also valid in Norway, as long as Hertz confirms that it has been provided to you.

If you rent a car in Norway, the car rental company will take care of it for you, but if you rent a car outside of Norway and then enter Norway, you will need to log in to AUTOPASS yourself.
