I'm still in China. Are there places in Sri Lanka where you can get meals for a few yuan or ten yuan RMB, and are there accommodations for a few hundred yuan RMB a month ?

We are now in Sri Lanka, where you can find meals for less than 20 RMB everywhere as long as you don't eat too much. But accommodation can cost hundreds of RMB per month, so you should be able to choose a youth hostel, which charges by bed.
