Just asking, do you guys bring your own pots, bowls and other eating utensils? Shouldn't noodles and rice in vacuum packaging be allowed to enter without being confiscated by customs ?

Noodles rice airplane carry-on no problem. We brought chopsticks and plastic bowls, and since mom and dad must drink hot water on the road, we also brought a stainless steel hot water bottle. If you are lazy, as long as the hotel says it has a kitchen, it should be basically available. We are just in case.
