Excuse me, is it better to rent or bring our own equipment when skiing ?

It's such a hassle to rent equipment for the ski resort and carry it up there. But they say it's cheaper to rent at the bottom. You need to compare prices on the official website, which I think is quite troublesome. Renting from different stores just complicates things. It's like creating a bunch of unnecessary work. Definitely not suitable for beginners.

If you have a lot of luggage allowance, you should definitely bring it by yourself. Bring your own helmet, goggles, and gloves because the price to rent them is enough to buy half of the things. The key is that the helmets rented there will smell bad. Sled/skis + boots can be rented on site, but the volume is too large, and there are sets to rent on site. It's best to rent them in the nearby town, which is cheaper, and then change them back after playing.
