Arrived in San Francisco at around 9:00 p.m. on September 28, and planned to stay at a hotel near the airport for one night. On the morning of September 29, planned to rent a car to visit the main attractions in downtown San Francisco, and then drive to the hotel near Silicon Valley to check in. Is it convenient to drive around San Francisco? Is it easy to park ?

Parking is expensive and cars are easily damaged or items stolen, so it's best to pick up your car before leaving the city.

I stayed in Los Angeles for a week instead of going to San Francisco. Parking in the city center is still convenient, but a bit expensive.

Parking is okay on Sunday, just don't block the entrance of the house. Driving around and taking a car feels different.

It's not that inconvenient to drive in the city either. There's a parking garage near Union Square. The parking garage at Fisherman's Wharf is $9 an hour, but you can go to the visitor center to get a 2-hour parking pass. It's recommended to park on the street nearby and walk to Lombard Street.

I feel it's not easy to park, it's all steep slopes.

Convenient, no problem with parking, just a little expensive
