No, a boarding pass picture is enough. When we flew from Santorini to Athens on Ryanair, when we arrived at the airport, we were asked to pay to print the electronic boarding pass because we didn't have one. We waited in line for half an hour but we hadn't reached us yet. Later, we used the airport WiFi to download an APP and showed it to the security personnel directly, and then we boarded the plane.
