Thank you! Yes, we considered the extra cost of returning the car to a different location, but we were mostly eager to experience the Rocky Mountaineer scenic train.

If so, would it be possible to fly from Vancouver to Calgary, rent a car, drive to Banff and Jasper, and then take the scenic train back to Vancouver from Calgary?
