What's the speed limit when renting a car on the Holy Island ?

Speed limit sign is there, but it seems like local drivers don't care. We rented a car in Santorini and didn't see any police officers... passed by a police station and saw a police officer. There are many one-way roads, and when we drove in, a local reminded us that we were going the wrong way.

We rented a car for 5 days on Santorini, which was reserved in advance from Sixt. Having a car is much more convenient, efficient, and less tiring. The roads in Santorini are not difficult to drive, much easier than those in Mykonos. The speed limit can be seen on the signs. Parking on the island is almost free, but the parking spaces in Oia and Fira are relatively tight.

You don't need to rent a car on the holy island, the bus is very convenient. It's difficult to drive in the mountain alleys. We rented a car, but didn't mention the car on the holy island. As a result, we got into trouble and got lucky!
