It should not be possible, but each garage has some slack time. When picking up the car, you can ask about the latest return time.

If you exceed the pick-up time, the reservation will be canceled, and some car rental companies may not refund the prepayment. If you need to delay, it is best to notify the car rental company by phone several hours in advance. If you pick up the car early, you need to return it early. If the pick-up time is delayed, the return time can also be extended accordingly, but it cannot exceed the specified time. Some companies may allow a maximum delay of half an hour for returning the car, but this is not necessarily a standard industry practice.
