Excuse me, do you often encounter small animals jumping out from the side of the road when driving in Australia? Does it have a big impact on driving ?

Generally we don't encounter it

The probability is small in the daytime, so you should pay attention in the early morning or evening. I saw an emu crossing the road during the daytime. You still need to concentrate when driving and be ready earlier.

Just descended from Mount Wellington in Hobart before the sun set. Met a kangaroo crossing the road. It was still light (just that the forest path was darker). Fortunately, there was still some distance, and it was in time to slow down and not hit it.

On his way to Melbourne airport, Campbell came across a wild koala strolling out into the road. He managed to stop in time...

As long as you don't drive at night, you won't encounter many animals. I was on the island for 8 days and saw at least 60 animals that had been hit by cars, but I didn't encounter a single one during the day. They were probably all hit at night.

During the daytime, a car was hit by an animal and got a big hole in the Karbari National Park.

During the day, it's not very likely.
