Ancient ruins are located at the South Gate, but on the map it is clearly marked as being in the north. However, it is called the South Gate. It opens at 6:30 pm, while the gate near the main road opens at 8:00 am. It is recommended to go up the gate near the main road for photography. I went to both gates on two different days. The ancient ruins gate at the top is a vast scenic spot, but it is not beautiful without water.
Drive to the east gate, there are many parking spaces, you can tour the ancient sites and cotton castle tickets.
Make sure to enter from the south gate. After entering, you won't have to walk far before seeing the castle on your left. First, take a look at the hot springs across from the castle, then just play around the castle and walk down to the middle gate to exit. You can then take a taxi to the south gate to pick up your car. It's not tiring, and you don't have to visit other historical sites because you will have seen the beautiful and complete Ephesus.
Back door up the mountain, you can see the front door on the road.
