I just finished my Road trip in North Island. I think Bird Island and Glowworm Caves must go, they are very beautiful. Taupo Lake is also nice. I went to One Tree Hill in the city and felt there was nothing special. I saw the sunset at Mount Eden and it was okay. Mission Bay and Auckland Harbor in the city are just so-so. Devonport is a wealthy area with nice scenery, you can just take a look. If you have time, go to the Agrodome Royal Farm and experience it, see all kinds of sheep and sheep shearing, it's also interesting.
