Can I bring some spicy snacks in individual packaging that I bought myself to the airport ?

I brought a lot of water. Anyway, I've given it. The airport doesn't allow it because I have a child. At Athens airport, I went through security directly with water. But when I came back, they didn't let me bring water again. It feels like they're playing around.
