Optus: $2/day for 500MB. It's always on. Just pay $10 and you can use it for 5 days. Top up when you run out.

I bought the Optus $2 card, it's not very useful. If you use 4G, the data is used up quickly and it will advance the data for the next day. I traveled from the Gold Coast to Sydney, and there were some areas with no signal on the way. Many places in Tasmania also have no signal, and there are also many areas along the Great Ocean Road with no signal. Although you can make unlimited calls within Australia, once the data is used up, you can't make outgoing calls, only incoming calls are possible.
