Can you please tell me if this itinerary is suitable for a 12-day trip to Prague at the end of May with a 6-year-old child? Stay in Prague for 2 nights on May 26-27, go to CK on the 28th, Vienna on the 29th and 30th, Hallstatt on the 31st, Salzburg on June 1st, Munich and Fussen on the 2nd and 3rd, and return to Prague on the 4th. Will it be too complicated, or should we go to Munich and Vienna first and then return to Prague after playing ?

I didn't want to go to the New Swan Castle, but the kids wanted to have a look.

Is it more trouble to rent a car in downtown Prague than at the airport?

Complicated? You mean going to Salzburg, Munich, Hallstatt, Vienna, and then back to Prague?

Your itinerary is highly similar to mine. The difference is that I didn't go to Fussen Neuschwanstein Castle. For King Lake and Neuschwanstein Castle, I chose King Lake. We gave up Neuschwanstein Castle, which is full of Chinese tour groups.

Your itinerary is a bit complicated. From Prague to CK, and then straight to Salzburg. After that, travel to Germany. After playing in Germany, you can go to Hallstatt. It only takes 2 hours there. If you want to enjoy snow-capped mountains and lakes, consider the lake area. The scenery there is super beautiful. Finally, drive to the Wachau Valley, after which you can visit the museums in Vienna. Vienna is the last stop back to Prague. This way, you won't take the wrong path.
