If the car navigation shows 4 hours, you should plan around 6 hours for a more comfortable journey. My suggestion is to add about half an hour of extra time for every hour of navigation, including rest, stops, navigation errors, traffic, and other uncontrollable factors, excluding long stops for sightseeing.
