Not strict. If service fee is added on the bill, it cannot be used. If not, it feels good. Give about ten percent. But if the service is not there, you don't have to give it at all. I was staying at the Hilton at the time, but I felt that the service was very unsatisfactory. I didn't leave a tip when I left. There is no mandatory tip.

Every time the service is good, we will give tips. Once we ate at the first restaurant on the list of owls in the pottery town, which was delicious and cheap! We ate until we were full for only 75 Turkish liras! The chef was having a birthday, so he asked us to take a group photo together, and he even gave us a cake! So we gave them 100 and got 25 back as a tip. They were really happy!

Not strict, all are voluntary, you can give or not give. Generally, we will give if the service is very good, and completely ignore and not give if it's not so good.

Not very strict, but Turkey is a country where tips are expected. It is polite to leave a tip.
