Actually, there's nothing difficult to walk, there are only one lane in each direction on the D400, so be careful when you're being tailgated. Turks generally can't pass you and won't honk their horns either, so their quality is fine. It's in the countryside, and personally I think the local people are all very nice, so you can feel at ease.
