The road to Kamloops is rough, with several hours of mountain road, only 60 km per hour, driving to Kelowna is much better.

Whistler is definitely worth staying for one night and playing for one day. Kamloops is just a rest stop on the way. If you are not interested, you can leave Whistler early in the morning and arrive in Jasper town before 7 pm at night.
