Can anyone please advise us on a Road trip from Calgary to Vancouver at the end of October? We will mainly visit Banff and Jasper, and the total trip duration will be 5 days. First, we would like to know if the scenery of the two national parks is similar and both are necessary to visit. Second, we are concerned about the driving safety in snowy weather based on the current weather forecast in the area. Although we have a long driving history, we have never driven on icy roads.
