Leaving from Livermore to Yosemite Valley takes two hours - Yosemite Valley to San Francisco takes five hours - Yosemite Valley is not a stop on highway 120, you have to turn off. If you can leave at 7 am and arrive in San Francisco after 9 pm, go for it.
