It is said that Moraine Lake and John's Canyon should be visited early. Is there a place to park ?

You should go to Louise Lake early, otherwise there won't be parking space and you will be diverted. You should go to Moraine Lake before 5 am to watch the sunrise. It's very beautiful. Otherwise, you can go in the afternoon when there are plenty of parking spaces.

Maligne Lake was closed for two consecutive days, probably because there were too many people. Yesterday, Jasper came back in the evening and tried his luck, and fortunately the road closure was lifted, so it's either early or late. The parking at John Canyon is also tight, with high and low viewpoints, and it takes two hours to go back and forth from the high viewpoint.

What time is it dark there at night? Is it easy to drive at night? There shouldn't be streetlights on both sides of the road, right?

I didn't go to John Canyon. Moraine Lake is definitely worth seeing. If you go early, parking is still very convenient. If you go late, you will have to park along the roadside from the parking lot.
