Can anyone who has rented a car in Iceland drive it to the Faroe Islands by ferry ?

I didn't go to the Faroe Islands. I ferried to the Vestmannaeyjar Islands, which was very convenient. But be mindful of the time and it's best to book the ferry online. I arrived not too late, around four or five in the afternoon, and there were still parking spaces available. When buying tickets, I was asked if I had made a reservation. I ended up buying round-trip tickets together. On the ferry, the driver queued up to enter the car deck. Different car models waited in different lanes, and there were staff directing the vehicles. Once inside the car deck, be sure to pull the handbrake, park the car, and turn off the engine before leaving for the passenger cabin.
