Can you please tell me if there are good gas stations along the way from Calgary to Jasper? What grade of gas is usually used in Canada? Is it self-service and pay by card ?

Choose the gasoline model according to your car. Generally speaking, it's gasoline number 87 (regular).
More densely distributed than domestic gas stations, very convenient to refuel, usually cars use 87 or 89
There aren't many gas stations, but it's still okay. There are two gas stations in Louis Lake Village. There is another one about 80 kilometers after Louis Lake, but non-Canadian credit cards need to be paid at the counter before refueling.
Gas stations are everywhere. When renting a car, the lowest number is added. Some need to preauthorize a certain amount of money first, then fill up the gas tank, or pick up the fuel gun and fill it up directly. After filling up, go to the counter to pay.
