Do you know which medicines can be brought in? How long does the immigration check take? I'm not sure if two hours of layover time is enough ?

Items that Customs requires you to declare https://www.customs.govt.nz/personal/travel-to-and-from-nz/travelling-to-nz/ Items that may be prohibited or restricted, such as medicines, weapons, offensive publications, endangered species, illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia More than 3 bottles of spirits, each not exceeding 1125ml; or 4.5 litres of wine or beer Tobacco products (50 cigarettes or cigars or 50g tobacco duty free) Any item that you have bought overseas and/or in New Zealand duty free that has a total value of more than NZ$700 (including gifts) NZ$10,000 or more in cash (including bearer negotiable instruments) or the equivalent in foreign currency Items that you are carrying for work or business purposes or on behalf of someone else Items that Customs prohibits you from bringing http://www.customs.govt.nz/features/prohibited/imports/Pages/default.aspx (Too many sensitive words, so can't write them all out here) Note especially: Don't bring cold and flu medicine such as Contac because it contains Pseudoephedrine, which is a key ingredient in the manufacture of methamphetamine. People have been sentenced to 2.5 years in prison for bringing it into the country.
