Can anyone tell me if writing "Road trip" on the German visa application can get it approved ?

I wrote about Road trip, didn't provide a rental order, and already got the visa. It's fine.

No problem whether you write or not! You have a car rental reservation which can prove your means of transportation, and the visa officer mainly looks at your purpose of visa.

The visa application materials should include a detailed itinerary, hotel booking, and as for the mode of transportation, it doesn't make much sense.

Whether to use Road trip or other transportation methods has nothing to do with passing the customs. Anyway, what they care about is the authenticity of the itinerary. Just write it truthfully.

Visa has nothing to do with Road trip.
