Is parking a big problem? ZTL areas also have various colors and time periods marked, my head is spinning ?

The scenic spots in Italy's cities are actually very concentrated. It's better to find a parking lot outside the ZTL and tour on foot.

Parking is not a problem at all. There are parking spaces available in hotels and scenic spots, but you need to pay for parking. There are also free parking spaces. White spaces are free, blue spaces are charged, and disabled parking spaces should not be parked in. Do not park in charging dedicated spaces.

During my stay in Palermo, I didn't need a car at all. I walked, took the train, and went back and forth to Cefalu. (During my stay, I parked my car in the basement of the "bagnasco 18" B&B, which was nearby and cost 15 euros per day, as the owner was able to accommodate.) As for parking spaces, someone has already answered that. The ZTL regulations were different during Christmas, so it's best to ask the local accommodation staff for information. They were very helpful and accurate. If I were to stay in the city again, I would leave my car and drive from there.

Parking is indeed a big problem, and there's a possibility of theft if you leave your luggage in the car and park it in a free spot. The staff at the garage or store emphasized this to us.
