I would like to ask if renting a car for a three-day, four-night trip to Vancouver and a two-day, one-night trip to Victoria is a good choice, considering the convenience of public transportation and parking. ?

Renting a car and driving yourself is convenient for a large range of activities, but parking in the city center can be expensive.

Vancouver can be driven by rental car, but it is not recommended to drive by yourself in Victoria. The ferry crossing takes too long and Victoria is too small. Victoria is not worth two days, unless you are seeking a British small-scale bourgeoisie atmosphere. You can have coffee and look at British-style buildings in Downtown, and then look at Canada's first miniature Chinatown. There's nothing else. The parliament square and hotel have one hour. Butchart Garden is too general. It is recommended to look for a local tour for one day.
