We were like this at the time, when we first got off the plane and entered Hungary, we went through customs, showed our passports, got a stamp, and then we were allowed to pass. Later, when we entered Hungary again after traveling to several other countries, we had our fingerprints taken when crossing the border by land. EU countries do not need to fill in an entry card.
