Hello everyone, just wondering, for 6 people, would it be better to rent a 7-seater car or 2 hatchbacks ?

Last time 6 people rented a 7-seater Highlander in Melbourne. The 3rd row was quite cramped, and there was limited luggage space left. If multiple people will be driving, it's recommended to rent two cars.
A 7-seater and 2 5-seaters cost about the same. If the driver is fine, 2 5-seaters must be used.
If you have a lot of luggage, you can use two cars. A Toyota Alphard with 8 seats can sit 6 people, but it's not very spacious, especially during long trips.
If there is a lot of luggage and multiple passengers, it is recommended to use two cars; if there are few passengers and little luggage, one car is sufficient. The Toyota minivan is also an option.
It is suggested to take two cars as there is too much luggage.
"Depending on the number of people traveling and who can drive."
I feel that there is definitely not enough space.
We rented a 7-seater with 4 luggage for 6 people. Just right.
We four people can share one RAV4.
