Most of the road surfaces are fine at this time, except that you must have four-wheel drive to go to F-level highways.

It depends on the season. Some 2-digit highways are actually harder to drive on than 3-digit highways.

I was following a local photographer from Reykjavik to Vik in Iceland, and she was driving at over 100 km/h the whole way.
