You must have gotten lost with Google. I recommend Sygic. That's 20 degrees cooler than Guangdong. Google relies on phone signal. The awkward thing is that in many places outside the city, there is no signal for Road trip, so you can only use offline navigation.

Apple phones can use Google Maps, so there's no need to rent a GPS.
