Can you guys tell me if US people drive really fast? I usually drive under 100km/h in China, will I not be able to adapt and get pulled over by cops ?

Domestically, driving at 100 is just over 60 miles in the United States, to be honest, it's too slow. Even country roads can be driven at this speed, and you often don't slow down to 100 when turning a big corner... You still need to adapt to a speed of 120... The guy who drives slowly is lucky not to encounter the police, otherwise they will stop you without negotiation, whether or not to fine you is uncertain, they will give you a lecture...

No police chase. It's best to change lanes if there's a car behind you. Once, an old American honked at me really hard because I was blocking his way. In China, changing lanes is always done cautiously, but here, as long as you turn on your turn signal, the cars behind you will yield, so just go ahead and change lanes confidently and decisively. If you hesitate, the American behind you will be confused. Similarly, if someone indicates that they want to change lanes, let them go ahead.
