I have a question for everyone. Did international flights get cancelled during the typhoon in Shanghai on the 10th of last month? If they got cancelled, will the airlines compensate? And because of this, the hotel I booked on the first night abroad got affected (since I couldn't make it over to stay there). If it's already too late to cancel for free, who will bear this loss? Will booking take responsibility ?

The hotel you booked should not compensate you for the weather, which is considered an "uncontrollable" external factor.

No compensation
