Can I rent a car in Greece with a domestic driver's license and a notarized translation ?

No need for notarization, it's technically considered illegal driving anyway, just a translation that the rental company accepts is fine.

Absolutely, no worries! I only used my driver's license and the translation, no notarization.

Strictly speaking, they are all illegal driving, but the local economy is not good, the car dealership is willing to rent, and the police are also turning a blind eye. Just don't have an accident, and if you do, no insurance will help.
