Excuse me, can I rent a car in Greece with my domestic driver's license and notarized translation ?

No need for a notary. Anyway, it's illegal driving in a strict sense. It's up to the rental car company to translate it.
Absolutely, have no worries! I only used my driver's license and translation, no notarization.
Strictly speaking, they are all illegal driving, but the local economy is not good, the car dealership is willing to rent, and the police are also turning a blind eye. Just don't have an accident, and if you do, no insurance will help.
