Everyone, do they need to check the fuel receipt when returning the car? I only drove less than 9 kilometers in a day. The fuel gauge hasn't moved at all. Do I still need to fill up the tank ?

Some car rental companies not only check the fuel gauge when returning the car, but also require you to show a receipt from a gas station within 5 miles to prove that you filled up the tank before returning it.

Generally they just ask you if you want to fill up, and at most just take a look to see if the fuel gauge is at the full position.

It's better to add 1-2 yuan of oil.
